Now, what would you expect getting up early in the dark, hours before sunrise, sneaking out through a house crowded with sleeping birthday (not mine!) guests (sneaking, yet not without making some awful noise in progress, of course -- forcing some doors to close with loud bang is vitally important), rushing away through the sleeping town in the car to get yourself to some uncomfortably cold and moist place about half hundred kilometers away?
Having read a very promising forecast last evening, we did expect some breathtaking autumn sunrise to be observed. And the viewing tower in the Mukri moor we'd visited last year sounded very enticingly.
